REGION 4 • Florida Turnpike Turkey Lake Headquarters Truck Parking
This project is a display of additional truck parking for the Florida Turnpike Turkey Lake Headquarters in Orange County. FDOT is planning to increase truck parking at turnpike locations throughout the state and this is one of the first prototypes. This particular location consists of 6,000 CY of conventional paving that was poured during the summer of 2020 with minor details currently being completed before opening to truck traffic. Atlantic Civil was the general contractor who employed Brevard Paving as the paving contractor with materials being supplied by Cemex.
