Work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for widening the SR 869 / Sawgrass. Expressway from six (6) to future ten (10) lanes as part of the corridor-wide safety and operational improvements. The limits of the project are from North of Commercial Blvd. (MP 7.482) to North of West Atlantic Blvd. (MP 8.968). Construction includes pavement widening, milling and resurfacing, maintenance of traffic, new stormwater treatment facilities, new bridge structures, signing, pavement marking improvements, ITS communications, and Interchange improvements. The project also included roadway and drainage improvements on West Atlantic Blvd. between Trailhead Access Road and NW 121st Terrace, including pavement resurfacing and minor widenings.
