This project includes the design and construction of an Operational Trainer Facility (LTF) which will house the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) simulators and other training functions supporting the new Navy LCS platform at Naval Station Mayport, Florida.

The project includes a two-story 66,000 sq. ft. specialized training facility. LTF Phase I has been completed and provides a different complement of training spaces. This project Phase 2 shall provide a two-story connector and share basic infrastructure such as communications.

The facility combines large bridge simulators, part task trainers, virtual reality laboratories, and administrative functions such as briefing rooms, conference rooms, break area, administrative, instructor, and contractor work areas, restrooms, library, and storage. The building will contain restricted access and secret internet protocol routing networks.

Special features include operable partitions in the virtual reality labs and briefing rooms and sustainability features.

Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lightning protection, lighting, paving for sidewalks and access roads, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping, fencing, and signage.
