CONCRETE block homes

Block Strong is an effort designed to make sure that everyone-consumers, construction professionals and designers understand the vital link between quality building materials and the health and safety of those people living in the homes and structures that they design and build. It’s also an information source for aiding prospective homebuyers in their search for knowledge. Block Strong is a partnership between the The Florida Concrete Masonry Educational Council, Inc and the Florida Concrete & Products Association, Inc.

CONCRETE streets and roads

The environmental impact of a paved surface cannot be based solely on the construction process. Concrete conserves oil where asphalt requires oil for production. Concrete roads help reduce excess fuel consumption, thereby reducing vehicle emissions. Pervious concrete parking lots help return rainwater to the ground, filtering out pollutants to protect streams, lakes and our planet’s limited drinking water.

REGIONAL promotion

The Florida Concrete & Products Association (FC&PA) has an army of promoters around the state. These boots on the ground, made of up individuals from each of our member companies, meet within their various regions on a monthly basis. They are charged with keeping the pulse and being the eyes and ears at the local level. Regional members are often engaged with local architects, engineers, contractors, builders and universities to help further promote concrete throughout the state.
